Ceradyne's Joel Moskowitz, pt. 1

Here is a chance to get, first-hand, a business report from one of the United States most successful ceramic products company. Ceradyne Corporations founder and CEO, Joel Moskowitz, describes the history and ceramic technology behind the ceramic armor products his company is best known for. But, interestingly, he also describes some the the companys strategy to expand into non-armor areas such as specialty crucibles for preparing solar-grade polysilicon, cosmetics raw materials and ceramic replacements for carbon cathodes used in smelting aluminum. He says Ceradyne should be known as an advance technical ceramic company and not just a defense company. Next year they may call us a solar company and in five years maybe they will call us an aluminum company. He talks about the current economic environment and we learn how, even in a recession, Moskowitz has kept Ceradyne cash-rich and in a good position to make acquistions for the Ceradyne portfolio at discount prices.

aftermathnews.wordpress.com Genesis: The Creation of the Saudi Crime Syndicate November 8, 2007 · 2 Comments Conspiracy Archive | Oct 6th, 2007 by Paul & Phillip D. Collins When it was discovered that money from Saudi Princess Haifa bint Faisal had found its way, into the hands of Al Qaeda operative and advance man for the 9/11 hijackers Omar al-Bayoumi, the Saudi Princess put forward one of the worst alibis ever concocted. Princess Haifa claimed that she was giving the money to a woman named Majeda Ibrahin Dweikat so she could treat her thyroid condition (The Saudi Money Trail, no pagination). The good Princess claimed she had no idea that Majeda and her husband, Omar Basnan, were passing the money to Omar al-Bayoumi (no pagination). The problem is that Majedas husband, Osama Basnan, was known to be a vocal Al-Qaeda sympathizer (no pagination). According to a law enforcement official, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, Basnan celebrated the heroes of September 11″ and referred to September 11 as a wonderful, glorious day (no pagination). Basnan is also known to have met with a high Saudi prince who has responsibilities for intelligence matters and is known to bring suitcases full of cash into the United States (no pagination). Princess Haifa also connected to Omar al-Bayoumi through her husband, Prince Bandar bin Sultan. 1983 "Hope Goes to College" Syracuse University Vanessa Williams

From Hope's earliest tours of military bases during World War II, it was obvious that he enjoyed a unique rapport with young people. So in the fall of 1979, he made his first post-Vietnam foray into the academic world — during the Vietnam years, his stand on the war made college campuses off limits — with a carefully arranged special entitled Bob Hope on Campus. The tour was so successful, in 1983, he produced another two-hour special entitled "Bob Hope Goes to College." As with the overseas military tours, weeks in advance, we were sent plenty of reference material on each school, so the jokes could be tailored to fit every audience on Hope's itinerary. Guest stars included Vanessa Williams, Morgan Fairchild, Joe Montana, and Dionne Warwick who dropped in for a sketch or stand-up routine, but as they had in the military shows, the monologues dominated and defined the tour. You can read all about the how Hope worked with his guests and his writers and what happened behind-the-scenes of these classic Bob Hope video clips by reading my book "THE LAUGH MAKERS: A Behind-the-Scenes Tribute to Bob Hope's Incredible Gag Writers," chosen a "Top 20" 2009 Year End Pick by Leonard Maltin who says... "Having spent twenty years writing for the indefatigable Bob Hope, and traveling all over the world, Bob Mills is well qualified to salute the famous corps of gagmen who kept the comedian knee-deep in jokes. These first-hand recollections summon up the final phase of Hope's career—and the ...
